Maternal Health Programs

Agents for Advocacy partners with Our Mommie Village, a Buffalo-based nonprofit dedicated to advocacy in Black maternal healthcare. Black maternal health outcomes are disproportionately affected by systemic inequities, leaving Black mothers and their families at greater risk. Together, we aim to address these disparities by providing education, resources, and support that empowers mothers and promotes healthier pregnancies and postpartum experiences. Through workshops, community outreach, and access to culturally competent care, our partnership strives to create a future where every mother receives the respect and care she deserves.

Community Events

We advocate for equitable policies, raise awareness about marginalized communities, and champion the rights of underrepresented groups. By addressing the root causes of social injustice, we strive to build a fairer, more inclusive society for all. Our commitment to this work extends to active communication with local governments and educating the community through impactful speaking engagements. From hosting workshops to organizing and actively participating in Buffalo's community events, we create spaces for dialogue, empowerment, and collective action, fostering a deeper understanding of our community's issues that matter the most.
